Academics
North Christian School offers a traditional, teacher-directed,
Christ -centered, core academic that use materials selected to reach
goals and objectives developed by teachers and board committees through
proper needs assessments. The program also includes instruction in art,
music, computers, technology, library, and physical education.
We are committed to Academic Excellence. This is illustrated by:
- Stanford Achievement Test Scores (SAT 10) that are annually above the local,
state and national averages.
- Over 30 years of comparative data has found that Christian School
Students score about the national average at every grade level. For
example, Christian School 6th graders have scored over 2.5 years ahead
of the national norm on standardized achievement tests as compared to
the national norm.
- The ABeka curriculum which is Christ-centered, non-denominational
and annually assists teachers in placing students above national
averages on standardized achievement tests.
- Each teacher at NCS has a minimum of a four year bachelor?s degree
in Elementary Education. Like public school teachers they also have
their State Teaching Certificate as well as being certified by the
Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI).

- Classes are limited to approximately 22 students per grade.
